 The splendor of Vesak 🙏

On the occasion of  Vesak Poya Buddhists organize various programs. Meanwhile organizing Vesak Zones is very important. On the occasion of Vesak our village also set up a beautiful Vesak Zone. I went with my mother to see Vesak Zone 🥰. 

When we come near the Vesak Zone the street was decorated with bright lights. From that the whole city was brightly lit. Colorful Vesak lanterns were set up on both sides of the street. They were made in different sizes and using various materials. They are very creative. 

                                               

A  big pandol was set up in the middle of the Vesak Zone. The pandol was filled with electric lights. The Jataka story was displayed there in a very attractive way.        

  

A long crowd had gathered to see the Pandol. There were puppet shows and  devotional songs show organized at different places in the Vesak Zone. Watching these gave me happiness and spiritual peace 😊.
